Integrated tire analysis data Bridgestone and Microsoft
2023-01-12
A few days ago, Bridgestone announced its cooperation with Microsoft to use Microsoft's Azure accelerated development and listing strategy to support Bridgestone's digital transformation and sustainable solutions.

Since the two sides first announced their cooperation in 2020, through enhanced and expanded products, Bridgestone has been able to develop new and innovative products worldwide, and deliver them to our customers quickly according to Bridgestone E8 commitment. The use of Azure will enable Bridgestone to create value for customers (mainly global fleet and OEM customers) by integrating tire analysis to better understand tire wear and tire health, so as to maximize tire retreading and inform when tire maintenance may be required. The two companies will continue to use Microsoft Internet Vehicle Platform to capture and analyze tire data in real time as part of a fully integrated vehicle ecosystem.
Bridgestone will also use Azure to build new cloud functions to further simplify and modernize the company's tire business and IT operations, including workplace productivity. Bridgestone will use Microsoft solutions to enhance operational efficiency and provide greater flexibility and scalability between enterprise tools and platforms. Improving the agility of the core infrastructure will expand the tire-centered solution to customers faster. (Compiler/Guo Chen, Home of Automobile)
